This year we were not able to attend any of our childrens school trips or swim activities due to not having a police criminal record check. Apparently citizens are suppose to have a criminal record with sexual charges against youth and apply directly to the school for a job.

Saturday September 03, 2011, seemingly at the request of one of the CAS and Falconhurst supporters whom were trailing us and removing our handouts from the windshields of cars, police were called to attend the Cobourg Wal-Mart parking lot where Patricia Bools was assaulted by a female Cobourg police officer when this officer grabbed Patricia by her arm. There were several vehicles and near to a half dozen so called supporters tailing our every move. Concurrently, Patricia's assistant was also accosted in this parking lot by one of the said opposed supporters massive boyfriend and too, was subsequently requested to leave by three Wal-Mart officials when he had proceeded to hand the slips to people in person. The male officer offered that Patricia keep a low profile for the sake of a few months until April becomes eighteen years of age, that April could come home then, however, Patricia piped up loud and clear for spectators to hear that April gained those rights at the age of sixteen, meaning that CAS has again breached proper etiquette and intend not to deliver April either now or then for fear of exposure. Patricia was then detained without good cause in the back of a police cruiser, for having publically voiced her opinion. In response to asking the male officer if she (Patricia) was doing anything illegal, this officer replied in a firm negative affirmation. She then demanded to be released if charges were not going to be laid. Upon release, in conjunction with consultation including Walmart officials, the officers instructed that she was on private property and she should immediately leave the premises and, that the Zellers Mall was also off limits to her, however by what authority this was being ordered was not offered. Patricia stated that in such as was the case she would take her business to the sidewalk or otherwise downtown, whence the female officer demanded that she was to leave the town of Cobourg entirely. In addition the female officer made a promise in the way of threats to call CAS and inform them of this incident and that the CAS would then have her certified as crazy, to which Patricia firmly proclaimed "wanting ones daughter returned to their person is not a ludicrous act" and, asked that she (the officer) kindly "inform the CAS she wants her daughter back while at it", ending with a thank you. From the sidelines the female officer was later observed canvassing patrons whom were interested in reading the slips retrieved from their windshield, to what end is not yet known.

A tentative call is going out for a rally in Cobourg Saturday October 01, 2011, so that such as these CAS supporters and local police cannot bully a lone mother out of town for having done none other that make a public request for people to send April home if they see her!
note: no one is saying children do not need a voice of representation, but that this voice must be fair and accountable, not driven by the desire to acquire funds to exist at the expense of family and child!
